Good Friday is the Friday during Holy Week, the Friday before Easter or Resurrection Sunday. On Good Friday Christians commemorate the crucifixion and death of Jesus. As Adam says, in his above Good Friday message, we, as Christians, eagerly await Easter or Resurrection Sunday. But we cannot get to Resurrection Sunday without first going through Crucifixion Friday and we await on Good Friday, the hope of Resurrection Sunday.
