Willow Brook Village is seeking a full-time floor care technician/housekeeper. This individual will ensure that the floors of the facility and homes are maintained in a clean and sanitary condition at all times. Will perform all floor cleaning duties, as well as other assigned housekeeping department work. Individual must be able to vacuum and properly shampoo carpets, organize and stock supplies, mop all hard surface floors as scheduled, spot clean as needed, strip, rewax, and buff tile floors as scheduled.
Previous floor care experience is preferred but not necessary (we train on the job). Individual must have the ability to lift and move furniture and stand most of the time. Basic arithmetic knowledge is also required for this position. Finally, a postive attitude and a heart for older adults is essential. Hours are full-time, woring 7:45 a.m. to 4 p.m. most days with occasional early morning shifts available. Shift includes four set weekdays with an every other weekend rotation (additional $3 per hour on weekends), and every other holiday. As with all Willow Brook positions, a criminal background check, fitness for duty physical, and drug test will be conducted.
