Executive Director – Full-time – Willow Brook Home – Columbus, Ohio 

Willow Brook Home seeks an Executive Director to oversee the efficient operation of the 50-bed skilled/26-bed assisted living campus.  Extremely rare opportunity to serve in a thriving, not-for-profit setting. 

Stable, long-term nursing leadership, sparkling clean campus, easily accessible location (just north of 270 on Rt. 23 near Worthington), and a long-standing reputation for excellence.

Qualified candidates must hold a current Ohio nursing home administrator’s license (LNHA) have a college degree (required), with emphasis on business or healthcare administration preferred.  Additionally, candidates must have proven successful senior living and skilled nurse care experience, knowledge of financial accounting and budget methods, warm and outgoing personality, adept communication skills, comfort with meeting and connecting with the public, and should be an adaptable leader and a sound decision maker.

Job Responsibilities & Duties

  • Oversees, initiates and supervises all major programs affecting the health and welfare of residents, facility operations, budget, personnel practices, and public and the community under the direction of the CEO
  • Monitors the physical operations of the WBH facilities
  • Hires and leads employees under direct supervision and interprets personnel practices
  • Prepares annual budget and reviews monthly financial statements for the Home campus
  • Advises the Chief Executive Officer of short-term, long-range and emergency needs of WBH
  • Maintains all records, funds, and statistics of the Home facilities
  • Authorizes purchase of supplies and equipment & oversees the effective and economic operations of all WBH departments
  • Promotes favorable public relations to news media, the public, area organizations, healthcare providers, and the community
  • Develops positive working relationships with families, contributors, volunteers, and teammates
  • Ensures, through tactful leadership and supervision, that department goals and operations are accomplished efficiently within established performance standards and budgetary allocations
  • Ensures conformity with all federal, state, and local statutes and regulations, pertaining to the operations of the facilities
  • Oversees construction/refurbishing projects
  • Maintains highest integrity and applies Residents’ Rights and Principles and promotes dignity at all times
