Willow Brook Christian Village seeks a full-time Director of Nursing for our reputable healthcare center. Excellent opportunity for a caring, skilled, and motivated RN who truly enjoys serving older adults. The Director of Nursing will plan, coordinate, and direct all nursing services, including supervising and evaluating RNs, LPNs, and nursing assistants. This individual will also work with discharge planners, family members, consulting pharmacists, medical directors, therapists, the culinary department, and when possible, will implement recommended changes. The DON will be integral in developing new procedures and education to advance efficiency and will participate in providing service to soon-to-be residents.
Applicants must be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing as a registered nurse and be currently registered with the Ohio Board of Nursing. Optimal candidates should have demonstrated nurse supervisory success, MDS and/or Medicare reimbursement knowledge, and an understanding of ODH regulations to be considered for this vital position. Excellent writing and communication skills and advanced preparation in geriatrics is highly preferred.
