The maintenance team at Willow Brook Christian at Delaware Run is seeking an experienced maintenance professional for a full-time assistant maintenance director position. This qualified individual will perform hands-on maintenance tasks and assist with team organization and management while maintaining a safe, clean and sanitary environment for our residents.
Tasks of this position may include (but are not limited to) performing basic plumbing, HVAC, electrical and carpentry duties, lifting and removing furniture, preparing homes for move-in, assisting with snow removal and surface preparation, completing maintenance requests submitted by residents, and assisting the director of maintenance with day-to-day tasks and various projects. Duties include assigning and monitoring work orders, developing SOPs and safety protocols, training and assisting teammates with various tasks, ordering supplies and completing purchase orders for items needed, managing and maintaining vendor relationships, keeping current with the latest technology for building automation, and other relevant duties.
Qualified applicants should have proven (references required) maintenance experience (plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and/or carpentry), the ability to organize and complete tasks in a neat and efficient manner, the ability to lift and move furniture and other objects, the ability to work without close supervision, team leading abilities, willingness to work a weekend rotation and on-call work, and excellent communication skills. The ability to operate a skid steer loader (Bob Cat) and a CDL license are a plus in consideration of applicants.
