The Water’s Edge Restaurant has an exciting opportunity for the qualified individual seeking a Chef's position in with high quality standards!

The Chef will assist the Director of Culinary Services in all aspects of the kitchen operations (including food safety and sanitation practices, employee development and supervision, food quality and presentation, food inventories and ordering, and menu and recipe development with a strong focus on seasonal and sustainable products grown locally).

A degree from a culinary institute/college is highly preferred.  Qualified candidates will have previous food service and supervisory experience, possess ServSafe certification or the equivalency, and be highly motivated with a strong sense of urgency.  In addition, candidates should have a demonstrated ability to work with residents, guests, and staff with the highest level of professionalism, courtesy, tact, and graciousness.  Candidates should also possess a fundamental understanding of hospitality and customer service through professional appearance, hygiene, and, most importantly, leadership by example!
