Admissions Director – Full-time – Willow Brook Village – Delaware, Ohio
Willow Brook Village is currently seeking an Admissions Director who will coordinate the Village healthcare sales/admissions process in the skilled nursing, long-term care, assisted living care center, memory care center, and adult day services and will communicate with discharge planners, verify insurance, and complete admission paperwork and data entry for new admissions. He/she will assist the Executive Director in creating a strong daily census within the facility. He/she will also be responsible for giving tours, providing information, directions, and other appropriate assistance to residents and guests. He/she will also perform a variety of other duties as assigned.
The main job responsibilities of this role include serving as the primary contact for prospective healthcare residents and their families in skilled nursing, long-term care, assisted living care, memory care, and adult day services and will respond to inquiries in a timely manner. The Admissions Director will also collaborate with the nursing team to ensure care appropriateness and will be responsible for maintaining high occupancy in all healthcare and adult day care areas and will also coordinate the admission process from inquiry to move-in, including signing agreement, addendums, and managing the move-in paperwork and process
To be considered for the role, a Bachelor’s degree or Associates degree in a related area, such as geriatrics or nursing home administration, is desired. Must have excellent communication skills, the ability to successfully multi-task, be highly organized in a fast-paced environment, and must possess computer literacy in MS Office, CRM, and PCC programs. Must also be available to quickly respond to inquiries outside of office hours. Previous admissions management experience is preferred, but not essential.
