Director of Sales & Marketing – Full-time – Willow Brook Christian Village – Delaware, Ohio 

Due to an upcoming retirement, Willow Brook Christian Village seeks a Director of Sales and Marketing. 

Job Responsibilities include optimizing/building community census, financial results, and resident satisfaction for independent living residences and assisted living/memory care beds. Director will work though entire sales/admission process including coordinating and conducting tours, follow up calls, greeting/assisting sales walk-ins, and all duties related to lead generation.  Additionally, Director will coordinate new resident paperwork and completion of all components of sales process.  Director will use CRM and Point-Click-Care (PCC) programs. Additional internal duties will include assisting and coordinating with the Assisted Living manager and the Director of Independent Living at Delaware Run with providing prospective resident tours and information. Sales director must initiate market research studies, analyze findings, and implement appropriate concepts and programs.  She or he must also be able to use sales forecasting and strategic planning to ensure increased census.

External duties involve participating in Delaware and surrounding area promotional activities and public functions to promote the Village, which will include coordinating efforts with the Community Relations department.  Director will be developing and maintaining sales funnels for independent living and assisted living/memory care prospects. Finally, Director will build great working relationships with all non-medical and medical referral sources such as churches, financial planners, Rotary members, hospitals, physician offices, and other community influencers.

Qualified candidates should possess a B.S. in Marketing or Business Management preferred, or equivalent experience. Healthcare experience also preferred. She or he must also have a solid understanding of independent living home options, health assessment admission processes/resident appropriateness, income qualifications, assisted living/memory care/skilled care criteria/options, etc.  Additionally, Director should have excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), listening skills, excellent customer service skills, proficiency in computer usage and CRM and PCC programs, Exceptional organizational abilities with high attention to detail and time management and proven track record of successful sales experience. Also critical is a mission-driven passion for serving older adults. Resident manager experience and a background in real estate sales may be useful.

Schedule will be primarily weekdays, with some availability to work evenings and weekends to meet sales expectations.  Director will take manager on duty rotation of one weekend a month (with ability to flex weekdays).  The Village offers an exceptionally beautiful setting, working with a dedicated, experienced management team.  Not-for-profit, church-related.  Many attractive benefits including retirement plan with generous match, competitive compensation, insurance, holiday/vacation/sick package.
