Willow Brook Home is currently seeking a full-time laundry/kitchen utility staff member for the healthcare center in Worthington. The laundry employee ensures that all laundry (linens, personal clothing, etc.) will be clean, as stain free as possible, and marked with the resident’s name. Neatly folding, laundry delivery, and placing laundry in proper storage areas are other duties of this position. The laundry employee should also ensure that the work area stays neat and clean. Occasional kitchen utility/dishwashing with stocking will also be required for this position in addition to laundry duties.
Shifts working 7 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. (set weekdays and every other weekend) with occasional kitchen utililty shifts of 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Job qualifications include basic communication skills and knowledge of proper washing and drying of fabrics; ability to work most of the time standing and walking; ability to bend and pick up laundry and supplies of light to heavy weight; ability to work without close supervision; and must be able to perform basic arithmetic. Previous similar work experience is highly desired.
