Willow Brook is well known for providing a clean, pleasant living environment to our valued residents. We are seeking a Director of Housekeeping at our Willow Brook Christian Village campus to continue that tradition of quality and excellence. The Director of Housekeeping will serve as a participating member of the housekeeping team and will assume leadership responsibilities including planning, organizing, and directing and performing housekeeping and laundry services of the Village campus. In this vital role, the Director of Housekeeping will work closely with and support the housekeeping team to ensure the care centers and homes are maintained in clean and sanitary conditions at all times, as the welfare of residents in a healthful environment is a fundamental component of our continued culture. The specific duties of the position are defined as 80% hands-on housekeeping duties, with 20% of time attending to supervisory duties.
Job qualifications include a high school diploma, previous supervisory experience, thorough knowledge of proper cleaning, disinfecting, floor care methods, and the operation of commercial floor cleaning and laundry equipment. Must be able to maintain the level of cleanliness and sanitary conditions that will fulfill the objectives of the facility, the ability to positively lead, support, encourage team members, scheduling, and must be able to lift, bend, and stand as needed to complete essential housekeeping and/or laundry duties of the role.
