For the first time in eighteen years, Willow Brook Christian Village seeks an Assisted Living Director for the renowned Centrum Assisted Living Care Center and Passages Memory Care Center in Delaware, Ohio, due to the approaching retirement of the current director. This is a RARE opportunity for an experienced RN to lead a high-quality community located within the larger Willow Brook Christian Village campus. This role provides the sought-after environment of patient-centered assisted living care in an already reputable, high performing, and well-functioning care center.
The selected Assisted Living Director candidate will be an experienced, licensed RN and will manage, plan, organize, and direct services for the assisted living and memory center residents. The Director will also be responsible for overseeing resident admissions and ensuring the ability of the care center to supply the needed services. Managing staff, including hiring, coaching, organizing, training, interpreting personnel policies, and serving as a role model of service excellence and care delivery, are important elements of this key position. The Director will also assist in preparing annual budgets, reviewing quarterly financial statements, advising the Executive Director of immediate and long-range needs of the care center, and will coordinate inspections and state surveys.
Previous supervisory experience in geriatric nursing or an assisted living facility is required. Ideal candidate should have CEAL (Certified Executive for Assisted Living) credential, or be willing to obtain this certification if selected. The Director must be able to develop positive relationships with residents and family members, contributors, and volunteers, as well as promote favorable public relations in the community with excellent communication and outreach skills. Most importantly, the Director will focus on quality service delivery to care center residents.
