For the 15th straight year, the Willow Brook Christian Home’s assisted living facility received perfect scores for its nursing care during a recent inspection by the Ohio Department of Health.
And The Home also received a perfect inspection for all other aspects of its assistance living facility. Inspectors from the Ohio Department of Health reviewed Willow Brook’s healthcare and dietary records, treatment plans, staffing levels and safety procedures during its annual unannounced inspection.
“We’re so proud of our team here,” said Kacy Mead, director of the assisted living community at The Home. “They take pride in what they do and go above and beyond to serve our residents.”
Asked how her nursing team has achieved perfect nursing scores for 15 years in a row, Mead commented, “A lot of our success can be attributed to the longevity of our staff. The inspectors mentioned that they don’t see that kind of longevity at other facilities. People stay because they like working here, and they really care about our residents.”
Willow Brook Christian Home is located at 55 Lazelle Rd. in Columbus, Ohio. A not-for-profit organization established in 1972, Willow Brook provides healthcare and housing services to older adults.
