Bob and Ginny are homegrown Buckeyes. They have been residents of Columbus, Ohio, nearly all of their lives. Bob attended South High School; Ginny attended East High at the same time. Both have studied at The Ohio State University. Marriage and family were also similar. Bob married Dottie Chapman and had 2 boys and 1 girl. Ginny married Don Salvator a year later and had 2 boys and 1 girl. Their first homes were in the same apartment complex, but they have no recollection of meeting. Bob started working at Len Immke as Business Manager. Ginny taught school in Dayton for 2 years and then became a full time Mom. When the children were in middle school, she returned to OSU and did graduate work in order to teach special education. Retirement came in 1990 for both. Sadly both Dottie and Don passed away. Soon Bob and Ginny decided to sell their homes and find a condo, and here they are! Bob is a member of the Masonic Blue Lodge, and enjoys golf as a charter member of Riviera Golf Club and a 25-year member of The OSU golf club, Columbus Athletic Club and OSU Alumni Association. Ginny was a volunteer in the library archives at Ohio Historical Society, Nemap Food Pantry, Alpha Delta Pi Sorority and OSU Alumni Association. Since their marriage they have enjoyed several Elderhostels and cruises. Ginny especially remembers a clan vacation (Burnett) in Scotland.
