Brook Christian Village
Willow Brook Christian Village is nestled on a wooded 31-acre site
less than a dozen miles north of I-270, the Columbus outerbelt, on the south side of Delaware, Ohio. It's an ideal setting for a senior community - convenient,
accessible, and secure. Shopping centers are adjacent to the campus, and banks, grocery stores, restaurants, doctors' offices, and pharmacies
are all close-by.
Delaware is a stable community, steeped in history and tradition.
The area has many golf courses, two state parks, movie theaters, a picturesque
downtown shopping district, and an impressive library that is well stocked with all forms of media. Delaware is home to Ohio Wesleyan University, a well-established
liberal arts school, which provides excellent opportunities for
education, live theater, lectures, and concerts.
Delaware doesn't have a big city's congestion, yet metropolitan
Columbus, with a population of a million and a half people and amenities to match, is only minutes away.
Willow Brook Christian Village is a continuing care retirement community that offers twin-single homes and apartments for those able to come and go as they please, and every other level of care from assisted living to skilled nursing and rehabilitation, Alzheimer's care, and even adult day care. One of the features most valued by our residents is that anyone who lives at Willow Brook automatically has priority admittance to any other facility or any other level of care at any Willow Brook location, subject to availability, of course.
Activities fit Wide Range of Interests
As with every Willow Brook community, the activities and meetings cover a wide range of interests. That's because they are resident-led and resident-driven. At Willow Brook Christian Village we host:
- Bridge on Mondays at 1:30
- Coffee Hour at 9:45 am on Tuesdays and 9:30 on Fridays
- The Willow Brook Singers on Tuesdays at 1:00
- Game Day the third Thursday of each month at 2:00 pm
- The Men's Group on the first Monday of each month at 9:30 am
- The James Joyce Clum every other Thursday at 7:00 pm
- Movie Night on the 3rd Friday of each month at 7:00 pm
- Bible Study each Thursday at 7 pm
- Carry-in potluck dinner on the fourth Saturday of each month at 5:30 pm
- Lunch Bunch on the second Wednesday of each month
- Monthly trips
Community Groups are a part of Willow Brook life
Willow Brook encourages our independent residents to participate in Delaware community life, and we help to make that easier by hosting community groups at our villages. Among those groups that meet at Willow Brook Christian Village are
